SEO Specialists Needed for Local & On-Page SEO in Hauppuage, NY

Are you passionate about Local SEO and Wordpress with 3-4 years of recent experience and proven results?

Hauppauge based growing SEO / internet marketing company (open since 2009) is looking for an experienced SEO specialists (white hat) with 3-4 years agency or contractor experience to handle the day to day work in specific Client accounts, with a focus on Local SEO and On-Page SEO as well as Technical SEO. This is a hands on position working under the SEO Manager. Depending on your skill set there is both National and Local SEO account work to be conducted.

Ideal for web savvy developer too who lives locally and is very comfortable with working inside of Wordpress websites. Contractors position. Work can be performed remotely however 1-2 days in the office per week may be required. SO, you must LIVE LOCALLY.

Note:

1) You would be a Contractor to the company working on accounts at an agreed upon hourly.

2) We are looking for someone who lives locally within a 30 minute drive of our Hauppauge Office to work specific days at our office.

Skills needed: ahrefs, Keyword Research, Create SEO Blueprints for new websites, Screaming Frog, WordPress (operate websites and add content), Google Analytics,Google Search Console Google Ads, Tag Manager, Conversion Set Up/Tracking, SEO Blueprints, Mapping SEO, Creating SEO strategy, accountable for results, developing clear action plans for each client, SEO strategy.

Ecommerce experience a plus. Link building a plus. Google Ad management experience a plus.

Minimal Requirements

  • Strong Wordpress skills
  • SEO consulting and SEO strategy development with client ready deliverables
  • Create SEO strategies and perform the hands on implementation yourself, independently
  • Creating SEO plans and executing them directly on your own (hands on work), with a focus on On-Page SEO and Location SEO/GMB rankings and Content Planning
  • Minimum 3-4 yrs. Technical SEO analysis experience, ability to perform a technical SEO audit, create SEO strategy docs and eventually be in Client side meetings
  • Ability to edit websites via hosting, FTP, Wordpress or other CMS
  • Strong Keyword Research skills and ability to explain SEO process and track results/communicate results to clients
  • Ability to set up Analytics, GA, GSC etc. and analyze for errors, crawl issues etc.
  • Ability install social media pixel/tracking codes etc.
  • Ability set up Conversion tracking on diverse types of websites
  • Ability to perform the work independently under deadlines with extreme accuracy

Other

  • Ability to take direction from Executives
  • You must have a working knowledge of how to use ahrefs and screaming frog
  • Excellent organizational and proposal writing/report write up skills
  • Working knowledge of CSS and Javascript is ideal
  • Experience editing .htaccess, robot.txt files, theme files, etc.
  • and confidence in your recommendations with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate progress in client friendly terms, speak to Clients on phone as needed, write up fine tuned reports for clients and demonstrate that you are improving results
  • Strong analytical, math and data analysis skills
  • Ability to solve problems, take constructive feedback and work with a positive attitude at all times under all circumstances
  • B2B and B2C experience
