Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist serves children and adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. As a PSR Specialist, you are required to prepare and execute group and individual interventions to assist clients in restoring a functional deficit in the areas of independent, social, and vocational skills. Help clients adjust to their social environment. May work with individual and group counseling and provide assistance with job training, housing needs, and family support issues. PSR assesses the client’s current conditions and level of social functionality. Develop a treatment plan to help clients learn skill sets needed for independent living, as well as maintain daily living skills. PSR monitors client progress and helps to achieve their social integration goals. Manage client records to ensure proper clinical documentation is maintained and meets Medicaid standards. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and adhere to all policies and procedures of Angels For Kids On-Call. RESPONSIBILITY Plan, prepare and execute group and individual interventions to assist the client in reaching their therapeutic goals Individual services should be provided on a one to one private setting.
