Overview
The Psychologist Clinical Educator will provide support and education to the Pediatric Inpatient Therapist and providers working with pediatric patients who are experiencing behavioral health issues. This role will assist the pediatric inpatient therapist through diagnostic clarification, education related to assessment and screening tools, and treatment recommendations.
The Psychologist applies psychological principles, theories, methods and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of patients with emotional and mental disorders. Makes psychodiagnostic appraisals and formulates treatment plans for the patient. Conducts psychological tests, compiles reports and reviews test results with patients and families. May organize, structure and conduct group therapy sessions. Performs crisis intervention as needed. Acts as a resource for the patient care team.
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology is required.
- Requires current licensure by the State of Indiana as a Health Services Provider in Psychology.
