Provider Office Supervisor Details

WHAT WE NEED

The Provider Office Supervisor works under the direction of the Medical Director and the Operations Manager to ensure that all providers are compliant with regulatory requirements. This position also works to troubleshoot and resolve various clinical and/or non-clinical issues. The Provider Office Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the offices under the Medical Director's area of responsibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prepare reports as referred by the Medical Director relative to individual provider productivity and other operational processes

  • Assists the Medical Director and the Operations Manager with the planning and organization of the projects for the provider staff.

  • Maintain provider operational binder and provider processes as per the Medical Director and Operations Manager

  • Assist with reference letters for Fellows, general correspondence, and resident's or APP's. working with providers

  • Prepare monthly provider staff meeting agenda and minutes

  • Schedule all providers under the direction of the Medical Director to achieve coverage in office, hospital rounding, catherization labs, operating rooms, and radiological interpretation

  • Coordinate all activities of the physicians in facilities, speaking engagements, CME events and Medical staff meetings

  • Work with the Practice Manager and Operations Manager to advise of provider time off so staffing can be adjusted or redeployed

  • Work with various credentialing groups to Manage CME for all providers to assure that each provider is in compliance with all board certification requirements, tracks licensure to assure current compliance for credentialing; DEA, CSR, physician license, all provider applications for credentialing at all facilities and for all payors and assists with completing reappointment packets

  • Act as service liaison to those we are privileged to serve for issues that arise with the provider client base. Assist with patient interactions, resolve problems and patient complaints to maintain high patient satisfaction.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • 5 years’ experience in ambulatory setting required

  • 5 years’ experience working with and supervising providers and staff

  • Interact with others in a calm, friendly and caring manner

  • Active listening skills and empathy toward others

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards, and procedures

  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient computer skills
