Employment Type : Full-Time
You know how to interpret government RFPs and organize proposal teams to get a responsive proposal submitted on time. Tight deadlines and vague requirements don’t scare you, but every proposal is starting to look the same. You’d like to learn some new skills, explore new industries, and make a tangible contribution to your company’s growth and process—all while working in a casual environment with a team that truly appreciates work/life balance. If this sounds like you, it’s time to consider writing proposals with Resource Data. Let’s look at what a career here might be like. Three months in to your new position: Fast-forward to one year with Resource Data: You may wonder: Am I qualified? What if I don’t know anything about software development or GIS? At Resource Data, we’re more interested in what you’ve done than what skills you have. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is some demonstrated experience following industry-standard best practices in proposal management. But professional certifications and familiarity with IT or GIS projects are not necessary. As a top performer, you can learn the technical aspects you need on the job. Intrigued? Send your resume and a quick description of two notable proposal-like efforts you’ve led. Each description should each be a paragraph or two in length and demonstrate your ability to work effectively with stakeholders and SMEs to produce responsive, persuasive content. Starting in Alaska more than 30 years ago, Resource Data has grown to nearly 200 professionals in 5 offices across the country.
