American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") – Silvertip Propane Division has an immediate opportunity for a new Propane Sales Representative in Billings, MT.
This position will be responsible for increasing sales of propane products and services by establishing new customers and expanding business with existing customers within an assigned territory.

Duties:

• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
• Grow the customer base through solution selling of propane and technology to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to expand customer base and sales.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and project scope with existing and new customers.
• Utilize Outlook to schedule call planning and timelines, making sure to maintain the Company's minimum monthly contact with customers.
• Develop long-term relationships with strategic customers and manage the territory customer portfolio to ensure renewal of targeted existing customers.
• Actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize working capital investment and financial risk.
• Respond to and solve customer issues by deploying necessary company resources.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience preferably with knowledge of retail and commercial propane.
• Strong selling skills and ability to close new business.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effective verbal communication and rapport-building skills.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
