Beth Israel Deaconess– Milton is looking for full time, Project Manager. Position is responsible for managing small scale projects in support of hospital business objectives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the general management and supervision of the CNO and Nursing Directors will performs a variety of activities that include, but are not limited to,

  • Provides leadership to assigned projects.
  • Performs project management administrative tasks.
  • Organizes and leads a core team of stakeholders through an entire project life cycle.
  • Creates and maintains a detailed project plan, based on delivery methodology and project impact, partnering with various teams to secure tasks, and tracking key dates
  • Manages project execution, resource deployment, and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Assumes responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects.
  • Organizes and leads meetings to ensure alignment among key stakeholders, develop work plans, execute on work plans, and achieve goals and objectives set by leadership.

This position is full time day shift 40 hours per week variable hours occasionally.

Great interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with both internal and external contacts. (Physicians, colleagues, and patients). Excellent training skills; ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple task simultaneously and meet established deadlines.

Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Performs all duties in accordance with safety and other laws, rules and regulations as set forth by appropriate regulatory and governmental agencies and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policy and procedure.

Attends and/or participates in in-house or outside training programs to improve and augment skills and knowledge.

May be required to perform similar or related duties as may be necessary on an emergency basis or as designated by the department manager or supervisor.

The nature of the tasks/responsibilities required of employees in this position will likely expose them to blood and body fluids. Employees will be oriented to and required to understand and follow the standard precautions for infection control. QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: Associates Degree

Proffered Education: Bachelor's Degree
