Location: Phoenix, AZ

Position Summary:

Join our Healthcare team in our growing Phoenix office! As a Project Manager at DLR Group, you will be responsible in leading Healthcare projects and growing the team across Arizona. If you are someone who would thrive in building a team of industry-experts, this position is for you!

You will work on Healthcare projects that will deliver design excellence, encourage creative thinking, while building relationships with clients and mentoring team members. As part of our integrated practice model, you will lead and facilitate the creative process that elevates the human experience.

You'll provide hands-on leadership, inspiration to architectural, engineering and design staff during all phases of the project as well as partner with vendors and consultants. Additionally, you will participate and have a significant role in client leadership and winning new work!

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage 2-4 complex projects of the largest magnitude simultaneously .
  • Develop project Work Plans (schedule, budget, cartoon set) for project success.
  • Be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Serve as primary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
  • Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced project managers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Project Manager experience leading and working on 15-20 projects.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare.
  • Licensed Architect.
  • Experience working with Arizona regulatory requirements related to Healthcare.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project for project scheduling, and Excel for budgeting and fee proposals.
  • Must have a collaborative management style and strong people skills.
  • Must have good communication and public speaking skills to participate in interviews and client presentations.
  • Experience vetting and interviewing consultants.
  • Must be willing to travel as projects or tasks require.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge and use of Revit and AutoCAD.
