A leading boutique eDiscovery vendor headquartered in Washington, DC is looking for a junior Project Manager in the eDiscovery space to administer and manage casework throughout the EDRM while focusing on Relativity.
The qualified candidate should have administrative experience with Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms including managing & creating fields, choices, layouts, views, dashboards, searches, STRs, batch sets, and indexes. Additionally, knowledge of custom objects, image sets, OCR sets, production sets, and event handlers is a plus.
In lieu of eDiscovery administrative experience, a combination of a technical understanding of relational databases and legal case management experience may be considered.
This position includes working with a variety of internal & external team members including fellow Project Managers, Operations team, attorneys, company or government representatives, and other legal staff. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of the EDRM and have familiarity with researching, designing, and adhering to different ESI protocols.
Some example job duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage eDiscovery and litigation projects within the Relativity document review platform
- Work closely with all other departments to complete complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Evaluate projects for use of analytics and provide workflows for implementation
- Use industry standard processes to facilitate data collections, ECA workflows, document reviews, and document productions
- Provide reporting to case administrators related to workspace metrics, user activity, or other requested document based metrics
- Perform quality checks and detailed analysis on work product prior to document production or additional levels of review
- Provide consultation to case teams for document review, production, and data searching workflows
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years Relativity administrator experience; or 2+ years legal case management experience and experience administering other relational databases
- Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully both verbally and in written format to all relevant technical & non-technical stakeholders including attorneys, client support staff, and internal team members
- Understanding of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM)
- General knowledge of litigation support industry
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and the Office product suite
- Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive situations and prioritize multiple projects with similar deadlines
THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Relativity Certified Administrator certification
- Relativity Review Management Specialist certification
- General knowledge of litigation lifecycle and experience managing litigations
- Experience with basic scripting in XML, Java, or HTML languages
- Experience troubleshooting applications and communicating results to support teams
