Project Manager, Business Transformation Office

Job Summary and Primary ResponsibilitiesSummary Statement:NuVasive’s newly formed Business Transformation Office (BTO) is looking to hire a Project Manager to execute key projects within various cross-functional business functions such as supply chain, information technology, business process improvements, and strategy. This will be a hands-on role with the opportunity to both execute exciting projects and be a part of a broader strategy as a true business partner. You will help the BTO build industry-standard best practices for project and program management within the organization while collaborating with the program management team.
To succeed in this role, you should have the commitment to roll-up your sleeves and execute projects, help build and strengthen business processes, while also helping build best practices of the organization as a true business partner. We work in a very cross-functional role and are looking for a team member who will learn Nuvasive’s business and drive project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional process improvement, supply chain, and IT system projects
- Analyze the business objectives of various stakeholders in the company, outline and develop a solutions plan, and work with management and development resources to prioritize accordingly
- Facilitate process mapping and requirements gathering across the separate business and technical teams
- Build project plans and execute on project delivery following project management methodologies on one or multiple projects
- Administering, organizing, and supporting the organization’s key projects, programs, and overall portfolio
- Excellent time management and communication skill
- Schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation and managing the project budget
- Working closely with other project managers, team members, and leadership to lead project management activities including comprehensive action plans, resources management, and timelines
- Build PowerPoint presentations for both department and executive meetings
- Participate in business reviews and building the project roadmap
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, budgets, and reports
- Discuss and document business processes
- Other tasks as assigned

- A proven track record of demonstrating the ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of the organization and with internal and external team members
- Excellent change management skills; comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to learn
Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g. agile/scrum/waterfall/ LSS)
- Proficient with process mapping, analysis, flowcharting, and requirements document creation
- Experience in leading medical device, IT, and/or supply chain projects
Travel and/or Physical Requirements- Up to 25% travel, depending on the needs of the project
