Job Description

The Project lead is responsible for leading and executing GBS owned projects. These projects will support the GBS strategy and require partnering with stakeholders and customers across GBS towers and other departments within McDonald’s.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement projects
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Manage and support project team
  • Create schedule and project timeline
  • Track deliverables
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Ability to lead multiple projects
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (Post Covid)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Experience on large projects in back office areas (Finance/Accounting, system implementations, Automation, HR/Payroll) as a lead or significant team member
  • Understanding of project management tools and templates
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certification Preferred, or willing to pursue
  • Green Belt preferred or willing to pursue
