Guy Carpenter is seeking a candidate for the Project Coordinator (Modernization) position in one of the following offices: Tampa, FL or Edina, MN.

In this position, assist the program team in the planning, coordination, and execution of our company’s ongoing efforts to mature our next generation customer and colleague user experiences in the areas of analytics dashboards, analytics report automation, data wrangling, and automation assisted workflow designs. This includes assisting with creating, monitoring and maintaining project plans, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
This role will also serve as a collaborative liaison between our global analytics colleagues and the development teams (both internal and external) to document and track requirements that translate internal and external customer needs into technology solutions promoting the company’s strategic goals for Analytics Modernization.

We will count on you to:
- Participate in work sessions, taking notes and tracking action items, persons responsible, and use of that data for weekly update reports about what is completed, outstanding, in progress, needing escalation or decision
- Assist with resource scheduling including work sessions, training, feedback, training documentation, and similar types of activity with colleagues and vendors. Scheduling resources may involve working with analytics leaders globally to understand team member availability, communicating agendas with work groups and scheduling tele/video conferences
- Develop written documentation of applications’ processes and procedures
- Develop training materials
- Prepare detailed project plans and summary timelines for sharing with Stakeholders
- Prepare weekly status reporting for Leadership; collaborate with project team in business as well as IT to track issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
What you need to have:
- 1+ years of Project Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team and across teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and Project Management Software
What makes you stand out:
- Experience in Reinsurance domain or Risk Management space for Insurance
- Experience working with Catastrophe Modelling or related technologies
- PMP certification
