Purpose:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for project administrative and operational support, and work related to system administration and support, project and resource planning, budget tracking, project billing/invoicing, project expenses, document management, training, and process improvement planning and implementation. The Project Coordinator supports and communicates organizational standards and processes. The Project Coordinator liaisons with all departments and projects in the execution of work.


Essential Duties:

  • System administration and support, including ERP, Confluence, and JIRA for key project tasks and initiatives, such as: project set-up/closure, resource additions, removals, documents, reporting, etc.
  • Support the following project tasks in collaboration with the Project Manager: project planning, Statement of Work development and tracking, project reviews, and project reporting and month end tasks
  • Interact with project sponsors, stakeholders, vendors and various project members depending on project needs
  • Communicate and collaborate with all roles across the organization
  • Train and support team resources on various project processes, systems and basic functions; advocacy of project governance standards
  • Support resource management and project planning needs
  • Support enterprise and project billing/invoicing processes
  • Support continuous improvement of processes and methodologies; help drive Project Governance and Project Management best practices; identify and manage new opportunities for Governance/standardization improvements
  • Responsible for helping to ensure relevant enterprise and project information is accurately compiled, maintained, and updated in various systems within established deadlines
  • Setup and facilitation of applicable meetings

  • Advanced software proficiency utilizing various applications which includes but is not limited to Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Query/PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate and facilitate professional communication skills; must be able to understand, listen, write and speak fluently, professionally, and, effectively in the English language.
  • As directed and based upon business needs/requirements, handle other ad hoc responsibilities and tasks

Experience:

  • 2+ years of project experience with strong foundation in project management principles
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Project, Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge/proficiency in Jira and Confluence is highly desired
  • Software industry experience is highly desired
  • Experience within the healthcare industry, especially claims processing and/or products and benefits management is a plus


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Work Environment:

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the office work environment varies from moderate to loud. When traveling to client sites, the employee may be exposed to various unknown work environments.
