Department of Emergency Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Operations Specialist.
The University of Washington’s Department of Emergency Medicine within the School of Medicine has a workforce of over 170, with 90+ faculty members who are known for their outstanding research, teaching and patient care. The Department conducts its activities at the Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake, UW Medical Center-Northwest, with research sites located at multiple sites across Seattle.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has an opportunity for a full time Program Manager. This position is instrumental in leading day-to-day operations for the Section of Population Health and the FOCUS project, an ED-based HIV and Hepatitis C screening program that exists at Harborview Medical Center, UWMC-Montlake and UWMC-Northwest. This role will work with the Section Head of Population Health and other Section faculty to manage all programs and initiatives within the Section. Specifically this role will be accountable for independently managing the FOCUS program, coordinating program timelines and deliverables, working with a designated data analyst to obtain appropriate data monitoring, and for developing and implementing protocols intended to facilitate patient linkage to outpatient services. Additionally, the selected applicant will be work with key internal and external stakeholders to create and implement a wide array of programing that focuses on meeting the needs of our vulnerable and underserved patients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree in a medically related or public health field AND/OR at least three years of related work experience.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
