MRM//McCann is seeking a Program Manager. This role is responsible for delivering complex company-wide solutions across marketing, sales and customer service functions. S/he will partner with business leaders and clients alike toward common goals and business inroads.

Our ideal candidate will initiate enhancements, as well as, assist in the creation of net new processes and procedures, based on her/his evaluation of predicted and anticipated business objectives, that should yield predictable and repeatable, high-quality, on-time and increasingly efficient deliveries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of projects or a large program for a specified line of business in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Achieve business objectives by leading the project team, cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Assist in the development of new processes/procedures to achieve new business objectives and/or continually improve, streamline or automate existing processes.
  • Lead or direct projects with cross-functional teams including: Creative, Technology, QA, User Experience/Information Architecture, Production, and Performance & Analytics
  • Lead effective meetings with clients, senior personnel and team members, providing accurate information, concise deliverables and clear expectations.
  • Lead the development of project scope documents, related schedules/project plans, project resource requirements and staffing assignments.
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional team members, executives, agency partners and vendors.
  • Lead, mentor and manage teams and direct reports; including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
  • Partner with client, agency and teams leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ASSIGNMENT SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee Digital Projects for a retail focused automotive client. Provides digital insights and consideration from creative ideation to execution. S/he may be coordinating the efforts of multiple project managers and provide an overall project oversight.
  • Engage with clients at a high level to manage expectations and ensure scope is executed according to plan
  • Create a comprehensive project management plan that accounts for development, creative delivery, authoring, QA testing, implementation and UAT
  • Attend technical workshops between the User Experience, Development and Creative teams in order to push development forward.
  • Manage weekly status calls between all work streams to manage progress and to solve issues/blockers
  • Develop/update processes to improve project organization, communication, and efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for technological and authoring requirements relating to the project

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience desired.
  • 8-11 years total project management experience in one or more of the following fields: operations, digital technology or web development firm, IT consulting firm or strategy consulting firm.
  • 5-7 years of PM experience spent working with digital campaigns including: site launches, digital experiences, email and OLA projects.
  • 1-2 years of PM experience spent managing project teams or direct reports.
  • Experience in an agency environment, or equivalent client-side experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the web and related technologies including (user experience, web development, web services, integration, application management and hosting).
  • Advanced skills in MS Office including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project or other project plan software (i.e. Smartsheet).
  • Strong capability with production tools and proprietary software (Egnyte, JIRA, Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems (i.e. CMS).
  • PMP or other operational/organizational certification (ITIL, Sig Sigma, ISO) is a plus.
