Job Summary:

The PM will lead the team that shall provide in-service support the active family of shipboard rotating radars. The PM will supervise the team leads and provide required reports (both written and in person) to the government. The contractor shall provide technical, personnel, and funds status to the government.

Job Duties:

This position is for an experienced program manager who is the expert leader of the team and responsible for the contract deliverables to include programmatic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The position is in the Virginia Beach, VA area and reports to the VP of Middle Atlantic Operations and works closely with government technical liaison representatives.

Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):

• Experience: Fifteen (15) years managing technical programs associated with combat systems.
• Demonstrated management experience within an Integrated Product Team environment, coordinating with radar engineering, logistics, installation and programmatic functions for surveillance radars such as those listed in the SOW.
• Demonstrated experience in program plans and schedules that are derived from an integrated master schedule.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying technical and programmatic risk areas and in developing and implementing risk mitigation plans for surveillance radars such as those listed in the SOW.
• Demonstrated experience in budget forecasting and execution.

Desired Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of Navy Radars.
• Shipboard experience a plus.

Education/Equivalent:

Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, computer science, math, or business discipline.

Special Considerations or Comments:

PMP or DAU Level III PM Certification
