Job Duties/Scope Of Work
The Facility Program Manager will manage the physical properties and processes needed to meet Department of Energy (DOE) order and contract requirements. This position is responsible for performing the following job duties:

  • Oversight of personnel within program responsibilities, which includes training and mentoring of operational employees.
  • Support of applications associated with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for General Purpose Facilities, as well as Facility Master Planning.
  • Conducting lease processes and evaluation for HMIS leases and assisting with other Hanford contractors.
  • Performing subcontract oversight for personnel and work level activities.
  • Routinely interface with HMIS leadership, other Hanford contractors, and DOE representatives.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Ensures quality service while maintaining emphasis on worker and environmental safety.
  • Provides oversight and direction for program planning, budgeting, and communications.
  • Maintaining procedural updates, edits, and revisions as necessary.
  • Leading and participating in monthly program meeting(s).
  • May be expected to work outside of regular shift to support DOE or other Hanford customers.

Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS degree plus 10 years' experience in administration, logistics, management/supervisor, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, exercise ethical judgement, adjust priorities and perform work with minimal supervision.
  • Show strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to interact in a professional demeanor on a daily basis with management, other Hanford contractors and team members.
  • Motivated to accept new challenges, willing to develop program strategy and lead project-based tasks.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other applications, space planning, lease programs.
  • Interfacing with the bargaining union, engineering, non-exempt and Sr. Leadership.
  • Ability to perform subcontract oversight for personnel and work level activities.

Desired Qualifications
* Understanding of Hanford specific application such as Sunflower, Asset Suite, ArcGIS Indoors, AutoCAD, Caretaker.
  • Ability to perform Buyer Technical Representative duties.
