GENERAL SUMMARY
Program Manager for contract will be trained to learn all contract responsibilities including, but not limited to problem solving, delegating, managing Sylvan Learning and Ace It! system, in center programs, and meeting educational standards. Program manager is responsible for ongoing site visits, meeting campus administrators to uphold high levels of customer service, and providing quality programs, as well as managing data entry and analysis on timely manner. Depending on the needs of the programs, major focus of responsibility may vary (e.g., district contacts, parent conferences, program preparation conference preparation, etc.)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Learn all Sylvan contract responsibilities, customer expectations, and specific contract/funder goals
- Assist Director of Contract Services and Executive Director with current and new prospective school contract activity
- Developing student learning plans by placing in appropriate level of instruction for students based on Sylvan data and student academic background
- Collect and monitor students’ attendance on ongoing basis
- Conduct Prescription Quality Reviews, which involves proactively analyzing and discussing with Director of Contract Services on an ongoing basis to ensure success of every student
- Meet deadlines, and input data on AceItTutoring.com on ongoing basis
- Ensures student academic improvement by checking in and monitor post assessment
- Demonstrates positive rapport and genuine concern for students
- Encourages student morale trough recognition, rewards
- Participate in recruitment, training and managing teachers
- Coaching teachers and providing evaluations
- Ongoing communication with administrators at the site or campus
- Keep up to date with new Sylvan programs
- Acts as a substitute if teacher absent
- Provide detail QA site visit reports and conclusion of every visit
- Effectively communicate with admin, staff, teachers, Director of Contract Services
- Assist in meeting sales and expense financial targets
- Conducts school visits to establish and maintain relationships with school personnel for partnership and marketing purposes
- Ensures the professional appearance of the Center according to Sylvan standards
- Ensures adherence to established Sylvan operating standards with particular attention to student safety and well-being
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Education background preferred
- Four year degree required
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other standard business applications used by the Center, including current social media tools
- Experience using Microsoft Word and other standard business applications used by the Center
- Knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, printers, and office phones
- Familiarity with instructional technology and computers preferred
- Presentation skills with audience
