Program Manager, Executive Compensation Details

As a member of the HR Total Rewards team, the Program Manager, Executive Compensation analyzes, evaluates and makes recommendations to Ingredion’s full suite of executive compensation programs including but not limited to executive/director rewards and benefits, short/long-term incentive plan design, peer group development and benchmarking.

The successful candidate for the Program Manager, Executive Compensation role is highly focused on the employee experience, customer satisfaction and business outcomes, and is a change agent able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong relationship building, listening, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the company’s executive compensation delivery including but not limited to perquisites, stock ownership requirements, payroll coordination, proxy support, CEO pay ratio, equity tax analysis, etc.
  • Responsible for benchmarking executive pay and plan design to market.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and governance to executive compensation guidelines and policies. In partnership with Corporate Legal, track changes in regulations and support global adherence to them.
  • Develops materials presented to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Oversees administration and vendor management of the Company’s equity program.
  • Develops communication material and meets with executive to ensure program understanding among plan participants.
  • Support the design, development, and execution of a comprehensive global executive compensation strategy that aligns with our culture and business strategy and allows us to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Ensure competitive and progressive executive compensation programs and infrastructure to attract, retain and motivate employees at a regional level in alignment with world-wide Total Rewards strategy and EVP practices
  • Develop and continuously improve executive compensation plan design(s) that best fit with the organizational culture, priorities and business model
  • Support the design and development of the company’s executive compensation programs and structures based on market best practice and business conditions.
  • Manage all aspects of equity design and administration; ensure timely reporting, filings and all required regulatory compliance
  • Responsible for the plan documents, plan design, implementation, administration and compliance of equity programs
  • Forecast, manage and report on ongoing share utilization and stock compensation
  • Contribute to the preparation of the company’s annual compensation reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of Human Resources Experiences with diverse global compensation and executive compensation in plan design, and equity strategy/plan design.
  • The successful candidate will be a multi-dimensional thinker who can manage multiple programs and initiatives with precision.
  • The candidate must be familiar with market best practices and keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field at a regional/national and global level. Ideally, someone with wide experience in executive compensation programs in publicly traded companies.
  • The candidate will be a respected program leader who is proactive and responsible in challenging the status quo while anticipating needs and then developing strategic, tactical, effective and efficient total rewards strategies to accomplish Ingredion’s objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be an assertive, results and success-oriented self-starter who has the stature, presence and credentials to operate effectively across multiple businesses and geographies in the company.
  • Proven ability to influence, persuade and collaborate across all organizational levels and functions
  • The candidate must demonstrate the enthusiasm, relationships, influencing skills, presence, and the confidence necessary to secure commitment and to lead the implementation of sophisticated programs and activities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent project management and communications skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of job evaluation methodologies
  • Experience from working with remuneration models, bonus schemes, pension, insurance issues and executive compensation
  • Customer Service attitude toward internal employees
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
  • Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Workday and Shareworks desirable
