POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the Mental Health Professionals, Crisis Facilities and the PACT/MACT teams and support staff. The individual will conduct intra-program meetings, participate in team staffing and program management meetings. This position is responsible for personnel management and fiscal oversight of the MHPs, PACT/MACT and Crisis Facility programs to assure the program’s financial solvency. This position is responsible for compliance with licensing standards and WMMHC Policies and Procedures.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of program in accordance with best practice models
  • Responsible for the recruitment, hiring and training of program personnel
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance on clinical and administrative procedures to clinical staff and interns
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of documentation for outpatient therapists and interns. Included monthly review of notes with follow up and recommendation to treatment team. Includes signing notes, assessments, and treatment plans as applicable for in-training practitioners and interns
  • Management of personnel consistent with Personnel Manual including approval of time sheets, leave requests, conference requests, approval of mileage, oversight of schedules and any changes, review and provision of feedback related to productivity and no show/cancellations, and facilitation of meetings.
  • Complete data collection and reporting for community contracts and grants
  • Provide quality assurance for documentation and services provided
  • Treat coworkers, clients and community contacts with respect and professionalism
  • Monitor and manage program expenses and revenues
  • Authorize staff time sheets, leave requests, and travel claims
  • Responsible for the recruitment, hiring and training of program personnel
  • Completing performance evaluations and personnel actions consistent with Personnel Manual
  • Assuring program compliance with applicable state and federal laws, rules and agency standards
  • Participating in policy and procedure development as requested
  • Provide clinical coverage and services as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in an accredited institution in psychology, clinical social work, professional counseling, or other clinical behavioral science
  • Three years of extensive training and/or experience in mental health crisis systems
  • Licensed as a LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), First Aid and CPR training
  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with good driving record if required to transport clients while working
  • Master’s degree in an accredited institution in psychology, clinical social work, professional counseling, or other clinical behavioral science
  • Licensed as a LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inpatient placement criteria and levels of care
  • Comprehensive knowledge of theoretical models of therapeutic change and best clinical practices
