Program Aide (Full-Time)

- Perform a variety of administrative tasks.
- Answer office phone and record messages.
- Maintain confidential program, participant and staff records online (DYCD, ETO) and on-site.
- Maintain accurate attendance records online (DYCD, ETO) and on-site.
- Outreach to parents and absentees daily.
- Motivate and maintain active involvement of program participants through daily outreach.
- Maintain the general upkeep of space and materials used by the after-school program.
- Coordinate special events in collaboration with the Education Specialist and Site Director.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Lead staff meetings and trainings in collaboration with the Site Director, Education Specialist and Director of School Based Services.
- Oversee the after-school program in the absence of the Site Director and/or Site Coordinator.
- Organize and supervise after-school outings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Associates Degree or two years of college with 18 credits in Education, Child Development, or a related field).
- Experience with performing a variety of administrative tasks.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet expected timelines.
- Must be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and reading skills.
- Experience working in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience with data entry software (DYCD, ETO, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working in an after-school, school and/or child care setting is a plus.
- Bilingual skills is a plus.
- Works closely with site based staff to provide services to participants and their families.
- Has direct and consistent contact with participants and parents.
