Provides work leadership to junior level associates through assignment of work, training, coordination and checking of assignments. Serves as a resource to junior level associates in the resolution of complex problems and tasks. Serves as the primary point of contact to internal departments for quality, workflow, product and equipment issues that arise regarding specific production line. Other tasks as specified below Leading a small team, delegating tasks, training new employees, ensuring jobs are completed and motivating members to achieve production goals and preparing production reports Ensuring quality of work/product meets Company standards by quality checks, printing labels, problem solving, and coordinating with department Supervisors Complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per MSI Quality System Adhering to and ensuring employees, visitors and contractors are following Company safety policies and work procedures Communicating with the shift Supervisor, making requests for materials, and reporting issues; coordinating with the AM/PM Team Lead and providing necessary updates Coordinating with other Team Leads/Supervisors and providing regular status updates Maintaining a situational awareness of the status of the production floor Maintaining a clean working environment Attending meetings as necessary Participating in routine manufacturing/warehouse activities Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills Must be able to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed High School Diploma or GED Two or more years of manufacturing experience in an electronics environment One or more years of experience in a Lead position Vaccine Requirement Motorola Solutions has implemented a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy.
