We are a fast-growing pharmaceutical company located in Wixom, Michigan. We specialize in contract manufacturing and packaging for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. We are seeking a dependable, resourceful and self-motivated Room Leader to join our team. The Room Leader is responsible for ensuring high quality of packaging jobs by ensuring the use of cGMP processes, completing required documentation and managing the daily activities of staff. Previous room/line leader experience in the packaging industry a plus. Also, ability to work in a fast pace environment and be reliable and punctual is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in room/machine set up
  • Complete requisitions for required materials in a timely manner to execute packaging job
  • Ensure the room/area is kept clean
  • Ensure SOPs and cGMPs are followed and understood by the packaging associates
  • Assist in completing required documentation
  • Provide guidance for any problems that may occur. Ensure machine shut down and notify appropriate parties if necessary.
  • Other duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Supervisor experience
  • Experience in a cGMP facility is a plus
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends
  • Good attendance record
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
