Fuller is seeking a Production Operator to set-up, operate and monitor machinery that produces hot melt, intermediate tow, and finished goods in the Vancouver plant. This plant manufactures shipping rolls of heat sensitive tape to global customers. The Production Operators are part of a team that moves material related to production equipment operation and reports pertinent production information. The Production Operators work under general supervision and instruction and get specific direction as needed. Operators must be team oriented, able to work at a fast pace, and have the ability to verbally communicate clearly to other teams and leaders. Focus on tasks and following procedures is important as errors in production manufacturing could cause delays in other departments, create rework or waste, and result in lost customers. Production Operators will be accountable for operating a variety of machines and play a variety of roles in the plant including String/Narrow Tape Operator, Tape Operator, Packager, Creel Operator, Hot Melt Operator, and/or Shipping/Receiving Operator. Requirements: Employees are eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off and paid holidays. This position may also qualify for medical reimbursement depending on the employee’s annual base salary. If qualified, H.B. Fuller will pay up to 100% of the employee’s medical premium. All employees also qualify for an annual cash bonus, based on business performance. Annual raises are rewarded based on company and individual performance. This position is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, use hands to remove or lift boxes, stretch and reach with arms extended and stoop.
