Production Operator Details

International Food Products Corporation - St. Louis, MO

Employment Type : Full-Time

POSITION PURPOSE: Operate all plant equipment related to processing finished product, scaling and loading/unloading all trucks/Rail cars efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate any quality, maintenance, or safety issues with management and maintenance
  • Operate all plant equipment within established procedures
  • Follow all plant safety procedures to protect employees and company assets
  • Follow all quality assurance requirements as outlined in the OC manual to protect product quality, integrity, and food safety.
  • Complete all necessary records for batch control and cleaning
  • Complete and record all records in regards to testing and retaining samples, loading and unloading of trucks and rail cars
  • Follow established plant housekeeping requirements
  • Contribute to team environment by sharing ideas for continuous improvement

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with any and all other duties that may be asked
  • Cross train and support daily manufacturing needs
  • General sanitation plan wide
  • Actively participate in audits and inspections

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL LEVEL

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical processes

  • Lift 60 lbs-Occasionally
  • Carry 60 lbs -Occasionally
  • Bend/Stoop -Frequently

  • Reach above Shoulder level -frequently
  • Push/Pull -Frequently
  • Squat/Crouch -Frequently

REQUIRED TRAINING & EDUCATION

  • Facility specific CCP Training (Annually)
  • Human Food Training Requirements

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shifts.
  • Must be willing to work a temporary assignment, alternative schedule or shift as requested by a supervisor.
  • Non-exempt employees are required to work all scheduled weekend or overtime shifts when the need arises.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
