Flexible Packaging Film Converter is seeking an energetic and dependable High-Speed Slitter
Machine / Production Operator.
Hours:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) - 5 day work week or
• 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) - 4 day work week
• Overtime is offered when needed

Background in production machine operation is a definite benefit, but not required as we will train.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Capable of using minor tools
• Basic math and writing skills
• Organizational skills
• Be able to troubleshoot / solve problems
• Communicate well with co-workers
• High school graduate or equivalency

Responsibilities

• Operation of a high-speed slitting machine
• Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Load film rolls and unload finished rolls from slitter
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Ensure rolls meet quality standards (visually able to spot defects and correct the issue)
• Packaging (weighing/labeling/bagging/palletizing finished product)
• Rework/rewind product
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow practices for food safety/defense
• Maintain properly written logs for production
• Address all safety concerns and following safety procedures in place
• Operating a pallet jack
• Production scrap removal
• Additional duties not mentioned above
