The Product Owner serves as the lead on the product they manage and is responsible for the overall success of the software. Among other things, the Product Owner has vision - this person helps define, design, and deliver on new products, new product features, or enhancements to existing products. This person works with management to help craft the overall vision and direction of the product. Subsequently, the Product Owner will work alongside the software development team to execute the vision. This requires managing multiple projects and teams, and delivering project deliverables on time.
What you'll do as a Product Owner:
- The ability to make trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
- The ability to identify high leverage activities
- The discipline to focus on those high leverage activities
- Oversee full-stack development teams to execute on the strategic, long-term roadmaps and tactical sprint goals
- Leverage subject-matter-experts and user research to deliver a highly competitive offering
- The ability to define go-to-market strategies for new features and product lines
- Interface across all functions of the business to collect and document constraints, requirements, define measures of success and mitigate risks for the initiatives on which you work
- A firm understanding of agile software development practices and the Product Owner’s role within the development team
- Writing user stories, consulting with design, testing software and other cross-functional tasks
- Working closely with various business stakeholders to ensure top-tier support, implementation, and customer success practices for your given product
- Lead software demos for internal and external audiences
- Act as the intermediary between the software development team and business-side stakeholders to create alignment to the product vision and success metrics
- Create and advise on product-related documentation as needed.
What you bring to the table:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management (Open to Senior Applicants with 5+ experience, compensation to be adjusted based on experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Scrum and Agile development
- Relevant industry certifications, Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMP, and/or equivalent
- You’re a critical thinker, willing to listen carefully, and unafraid to ask probing questions
- Attention to detail and ability to define the end user’s needs to the technical team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are a continuous improvement driver, consistently inspecting and adapting to deliver results
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable managing multiple initiatives, are capable of consistently achieving results on time, to spec, within budget, able to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
- You’re a life-long learner, always seeking to expand your knowledge of the market & trends
- Willing to travel as needed to events, US-based offices, and our development hub in Colombia

This full-time position is open at our Boulder, CO location and is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless otherwise required by project activities. The target base pay range for this role is $,70,000-110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and geographic location market value and accompanied by our full benefits package.
