    Product Operations Management at Valon

    You will be working alongside the co-founders/CPO/product managers and our world-class engineering team in order to build the best product for homeowners, servicing team members, and investors.


    Responsibilities


  • You sit at the top end of the funnel of Valon's product development life cycle, review regulatory changes from the federal, state, and Agencies through a product-first lens.

  • You own the end-to-end policy and procedures, defining through a user-first angle how Valon approaches mortgage concepts such as onboarding, escrow management, payment processing, etc.

  • You work with Product Managers to ensure Valon's servicing policy & procedures always put user usability and product scalability first.




  • Ideal Background


  • You are comfortable reading and parsing mortgage servicing policies and procedures from CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and various states.

  • You have sat in product organizations in engineering-centric organizations.

  • You can create strong procedural guides from oftentimes high-level regulations.

  • You communicate well to multiple audiences in writing as well as verbally.

  • You’re able to envision brand-new product solutions from the ground up instead of simply reiterating features from the decades-old competition.
