Electrify America’s Product Management team is charged with leading the development and deployment of all products and services at Electrify America. This includes product strategy and planning (i.e., defining product requirements, building business cases), coordination of product delivery, and ongoing monitoring and refinement of existing offerings. The Product Manager: Public Network is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our public network of ultrafast (DCFC) charging stations, including station location and equipment strategy, partnerships, pricing, and P&L oversight (at both a station and network-level).
Role Responsibilities:
Product Strategy (20%)
- Define set of products and services offered on Electrify America’s ultra-fast DCFC network
- Includes both B2B and B2C offerings
- Develop product roadmap with plan for rollout of new products and services over next 12-24 months
- Track and analyze competitive landscape and provide relevant product insights to broader Electrify America organization
Product Planning (40%)
- Identify core customer requirements through data/analytics and customer research to ensure Electrify America products are targeted at key customer pain points
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Field Operations, Marketing) to define new products and features
- Recommend pricing for all B2B and B2C products and services on the ultra-fast DCFC network
- Estimate product volumes and ‘take rates’ for all products and services
- Conduct make/buy analyses for any new offerings
- Support negotiations with key product suppliers/partners
- Define distribution / channel strategy
Product Delivery (20%)
- Oversee successful implementation of new products and features
Feedback Loop & Product life-cycle (20%)
- Together with Data Science, Energy and Finance teams, analyze site-level and network-level economics to inform new-product strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather lessons learned from existing deployments and incorporate into next set of products and services

Qualifications
Years of Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
Education:
Required - Bachelor’s Degree
Desired - Masters in Business Administration, Economics or Similar
Skills:
- 10+ years experience including work in product management, corporate/business strategy, finance, or related fields
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful project implementation
- Familiarity with business accounting and P&L statements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment and flex as needs and priorities change
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Specialized Skills:
Required:
- Knowledge of EVs, EV charging, and/or Energy/Utilities
- Strong knowledge of the EV landscape, experience in product strategy, and a history of leading enterprise-level projects to successful delivery.
Desired:
- Knowledge and experience in managing complex product from strategy and planning through delivery, monitoring and maintenance
Work Flexibility:
- Moderate flexibility – able to work remote part time, but in person meetings may be required
- <10% travel required
