As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving upstream market initiatives from opportunity assessment to product development and in the development of portfolio strategy.
  • Developing insights and value proposition from the voice of customer using a variety of channels including qualitative or quantitative market research, KOL interviews, literature search, customer interactions, and gathering input from field representatives.
  • Serving as the customer advocate interacting with different functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Sales and Finance to specify and prioritize product updates and new feature requirements.
  • Collaborating with regional product marketing teams regarding pricing strategies, quality initiatives, and future product development requirements to help shape portfolio roadmap.
  • Performing business analysis and developing discontinuation strategies for existing products when necessary.
  • Assisting product lead with the development of global marketing strategies to support the market penetration and launch of new and existing products in different countries.
  • Working with product lead in downstream marketing to support development of launch materials, product literature, and any other collaterals needed for sales activities.
  • Partnering with field marketing and sales management teams to develop and execute product rollouts and training in key global markets.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and reporting on competitive threats and pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics for the product portfolio to develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.
  • Assisting supply chain management team in managing product supply disruptions based on customer demand and country requirements.
  • Participating in product demonstrations at major tradeshows and events as needed.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, or related discipline is required; MBA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in product management or marketing in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with medical devices and point of care diagnostics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; experience working with data to facilitate product decisions along with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills; Proficient in making compelling presentations on Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
