Cloudbeds is developing the next-generation analytics platform for the SaaS and Lodging businesses, bringing our customers an unrivaled level of data analytics capabilities while redefining the market for data solutions in travel technology. Cloudbeds is looking for a highly skilled and experienced product manager who will lead cross-functional teams in order to create, deliver, market, and grow our Data Insights product. Experience launching new products into a market and growing adoption is a must. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in strategic product thinking, working with user experience teams, and working across teams on go-to-market plans including pricing and positioning. You will bring new products and capabilities to market for our customers.

You will create and launch a new product that will lead Cloudbeds and our customers to new heights. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting the engineering team in a hands-on approach through every phase of bringing our Data Insights product to market.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive all product management efforts for Cloudbeds Data Insights
  • Work closely with customers, partners, and leaders across sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Deeply understand and synthesize user needs into a prioritized product roadmap and action plan.
  • Be the Product Owner of a cross-functional scrum team
  • Own the product backlog, defining, documenting, and communicating objectives, requirements, and constraints for engineering initiatives and product releases
  • Deliver architecturally aware, delightful products to our customers
  • Define and execute a go-to-market plan
  • Act on metrics that inform the success, growth, and profitability of the product line
  • Act as a trusted advisor during customer interactions and events, including social media coverage
  • Act as a champion of performance and data platform objectives for the feature owned

You’ll Succeed With:

  • 6+ years proven record working on and delivering data-rich SaaS applications to external customers and solutions that leverage technology to create delightful user experiences
  • Hands-on experience working with modern data analysis tools to analyze product data
  • Experience launching new products into a market and growing adoption
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer data delivery via multiple channels: online UI tools and SaaS platforms, downloadable reports, and API extraction.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably within a Scrum team
  • A natural talent for mediating competing interests and finding creative solutions.
  • Experienced with all aspects of the product development lifecycle: ideation, strategic planning, development, measuring adoption, marketing, and positioning
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with changing needs and limited resources
  • You are a team player, who can collaborate with engineers, designers, and other teams
  • You drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • You find ways to bring data to the table and make strategic decisions
  • A deep understanding and empathy for users
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience building and delivering data analytics products and solutions
  • Experience working as a data scientist or within a data science group
  • Past experience as a product manager for a data analytics company
  • Data analysis experience specifically within the Hospitality Industry
  • Certification in Product Ownership through either Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org. This could be either Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices
