CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. We currently seek an Assistant Project Manager for our Mesa, Administrative Office location. Summary:Assist the Project Manager with the daily management, coordination, and successful completion of projects. Assists with scheduling, and other managerial aspects of project. Supports the selection process for contractors needed for project. Supports the implementation of design for construction and renovation. Consult with stakeholders and company representatives to direct project development. The ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands is crucial. This position ensures the assigned sites are maintained in accordance to various rules and regulations including, but not limited to: - OSHA – Occupation Safety and Health Administration
- ADOSH – Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health
- AAC – The American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Arizona Administrative Code
- ADHS/Medical Licensing – Arizona Department of Health Services/Department of Medical Licensing
- CARF – Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
- CBI – Community Bridges (CBI) Policies and Procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - Maintain full count of inventory and assets as it relates to construction and buildings.
- Research and compile information about the licenses and permits required for a particular job.
- Oversee invoice and payment processing in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer and stakeholders inquiries and concerns promptly.
- May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials, and purchase orders.
- Ensure materials are ordered, projects are designed and planned, and monies are available.
- Coordinate and monitor status of work orders, estimate requests, and purchase materials and equipment and estimate labor costs.
- Provide administrative assistance.
- Maintains current knowledge in the field of facilities management/ maintenance/ security; ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building and safety codes.
- Compose, organize and track all project files such as plans, submittals, contract, RFI’s, etc.
- Coordinate 3 bid process in compliance with company policy.
- Work directly with tenants for property concerns.
- Adhere to all Community Bridges policies and procedures.
- Examine facility and grounds for repairs and service.
- Prepare written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
- Enter requisitions in company’s Purchase Order system prior to procurement.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualification Standards:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
Education and/or Experience:- High School or GED.
- Bachelor’s in building science or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must have at least one year related experience and/or training
Skills:. - Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures, and be able to speak effectively before groups, customers, and employees.
- Must be able to use basic mathematical skills.
- Must be able to deal with problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Must possess basic knowledge of computer and internet software.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:- Work is performed in a normal office environment
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance; may occasionally be required to lift and/or move heavier items with assistance.
- Must be able to sit or stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to uphold to physical requirements of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing a ladder, etc.
- Able to drive between sites upon notice or need.
