Tro Manufacturing Co in Franklin Park, IL is looking for a Press Operator Set-up Lead for a 1st shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Positions, aligns, and clamps specified punch and die set into ram and bed of machine, using feelers, gauges, shims, rule, or template
Lifts workpiece onto machine bed or roller table, manually or by using forklift
Gets dies from, and returns dies to their proper place in storage rack
Starts strip and makes sample parts and adjusts tooling until parts are in specification
Assists operators in set up and adjustment
Qualifications:
3+ years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship
Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 20 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
