Preschool Director

We are in search of a Director to join our prestigious private preschool and team of educators.
Director is responsible for the day-to-day and overall operations of the facility, supporting our mission to enhance learning and development for each child. Will ensure the staff provides the best possible learning and care experience for the children in our programs, oversee the curriculum, and market the facility and our programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively operate and manage all aspects of the school, including business management, education and continual learning and development, campus environment, and marketing and communications
- Oversee and ensure consistent implementation of the Balanced Learning System for all students enrolled
- Consistently implement the Primrose Schools’ Continual Learning Plan to prepare and support teaching staff
- Actively develop and maintain positive staff relationships and parent partnerships and manage all resources effectively
- Establish and maintain respectful working relationships with state licensing authorities
- Organize and conduct school functions and community marketing and philanthropic events
- Follow and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
- Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must meet all requirements stipulated by AZDHA
- Previous experience operating and managing all aspects of a school, including business management, education and continual learning and development, campus environment, and marketing and communications
- Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must be articulate in written & spoken word
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly professional and dependable; ability to work flexible work hours
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
