POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (MATERIALS RESEARCH), ANB-M (COLLEGE OF MEDICINE-PHOENIX) The Center for Applied NanoBioscience and Medicine (ANBM) seeks a post-doctoral fellow to perform materials research and development for novel sample preparation and separations for mass spectrometry-based omics. The candidate will design, synthetize and characterize various polymer fiber-based substrates and sol-gel coatings. The candidate will develop, optimize, and perform chemical composition and surface properties suitable for extracting molecular analytes from liquid biopsies (i.e. blood, saliva and urine). The candidate must have a deep knowledge in materials science, polymer chemistry and analytical chemistry as well as some experience in biomarker discovery using MS and LC/MS-analytical tools.
