ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organization of assigned work center Load package into work center boards in a pre-defined and agreed upon manner Collection, updating and review of completed paperwork Scan all completed Non-Routines into appropriate folder Identify and mark all engineering issues onto the status report Ensure all AD related completed routine cards are routed to the quality representative for disposition before completing the Master Tally and filing Ensure all Non-Routines stamped “SDR” are routed to the quality representative for processing before completing the Master Tally and filing Ensure all Non-Routines and Routine Estimated Hours are evaluated, approved and entered into spreadsheet Ensure all customer required Mainframe system entries are done accurately and timely Assist maintenance in looking up cross-referenced part numbers Ensure work package Tally Sheets are completed prior to aircraft dispatch Route completed paperwork up to drop off location in the Records/Planning Office at the end of each day Make copies and files all completed paperwork after final Quality review in appropriate cabinets in the Records/Planning Office Provide documents as needed to Mechanics and/or Lead Mechanics Collect, update, review and coordinate ordered parts between the work center, stockroom and purchasing group in order to maintain and update the daily aircraft “Hot Sheet” Update and maintain the daily non-routine lists. Ensure that all paperwork is accounted for at each shift’s end Provide assistance to the Manager of Production Control & Planning for the assembly and review of both internal and external customer work packages and any other daily needs Understand and apply the chapters and sections of the manual that apply to his or her position Perform additional duties as may be assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Physical: Able to bend, stoop, crouch, carry items up to 20 pounds, grasp, kneel, lift items 20 pounds or over, use repetitive motion, sit on average 3 hours per day, stand on average 5 hours per day, walk on average 6 hours per day, possess the ability to see and follow precise instructions, documents, diagrams, or blueprints, to distinguish color differences, to see and read information via computer screen or other electronic device, to hear and understand precise directions, to hear and understand what others are saying in normal conversation. Mental: Able to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information, ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology or data, ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work unit Communication: Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and spreadsheets and/or conduct routine oral communication, to communicate with individuals utilizing a telephone; requires ability to hear and speak effectively on phone, to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word To perform accurate and quality work, employees must possess and demonstrate attention to detail, ability to accurately proofread, be cooperative and flexible, possess organizational skills, work productively and efficiently within a fast paced and diverse work environment, and be safety conscious.
