Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI) is searching for a knowledgeable and experienced Pile Driving Foreman for projects in the New England region.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor work performance and productivity of crew to ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements.
- Promote job site safety, encouraging safe work practices and ensuring compliance to safety policies.
- Conducting daily huddles with crew and weekly tool box talks covering pertinent safety topics.
- Produce a daily safety report of activities to be performed to include preparation of any JHAs for each type of work activity.
- Direct crew to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to current plans, specifications and work plans.
- Conduct daily inspections/minor maintenance of pile driving equipment and rigging.
- Accountable for ensuring the work done meets standards and for improving productivity and quality as needed.
- Work with superintendent(s) to prepare work schedule, determine manpower requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, and supervise completion of work in its entirety.
- Accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring that crews meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Advise superintendent of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties; assist with resolving the problems that arise.
- Accountable for the preparation of all reports as required to include time sheets for labor/equipment hours, quantity tracking under applicable cost codes and completion of daily diary entries using HeavyJob.
- Collecting material and delivery tickets and ensuring they make it to the Field/Project Engineer.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with working in a union environment is preferable.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of construction experience with 5+ years of Pile Driving and leadership experience.
- Familiarity with pile driving equipment.
- High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade;
- Extensive knowledge of construction best practices and procedures, equipment maintenance and use, and OSHA guidelines;
- Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card; or the ability to acquire current card.
- Ability to identify problems and solve them as they arise.
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others.
- Excellent organizational, leadership skills, and team-building skills.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to quickly learn LCI’s various policies, procedures and software programs.
- Proactive, driven and actively exercises good judgement while on the job.
- Strong organizational skills to keep the project on schedule and on track.
