As part of the Hospitalist Service, provides direct clinical services to assess, evaluate, diagnosis and provide treatment and care during inpatient stay, specifically to support Medical Rounding for Orthopedic co-management.
Participates in patient education counseling and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional practice in the clinical setting.
PA-C must be a graduate from CAHEA (Committee for Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association) accredited training program; present proof of passage of the NCCPA (National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants) Certification examination, and current registration as a physician assistant from the RI department of health.
APRN must be a graduate of an Accredited School or College; present current RNP licensure in State of Rhode Island or pending, and current completion of BLS provider course.
Will require credentialing by the Medical Staff.
