Summary
Serves as a key member of the CDx Business Development Group, supporting the CDx Business Development Directors and the CDx Contracts Director. Maintains and extends relationships with existing non-Roche Pharma Partners, already under formal contract with Ventana. Scopes and facilitates internal approvals by the CDx Funnel Committee, and manages existing contracts. Additionally, supports CDx Finance, providing information required for updating, forecasting, and maintaining the financial plan for the CDx LifeCycle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates and facilitates team building and relationship management among Ventana CDx personnel and their counterparts with existing customers.
- Prepares documentation for internal approval for new projects from existing non-Roche Pharma Partners.
- Supports the CDx Contracts Director to maintain a tracking system to track contract completion and issues reports on contract activities.
- Serves as primary contact person for counterpart Pharma alliance managers.
- Ensures compliance with the key collaboration governance provisions of Master Agreements between Roche Diagnostics and non-Roche Partners.
- Supports CDx business development directors and CDx Project Leaders to prepare and submit new projects with existing customers in to the CDx Opportunity Funnel.
- Continuously Identifies and implements improvements to the partnership operating model to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the business
- Manages expansion of relations from RTD-focused to focus across DIA, including RMS, RSS, CPS, and commercial affiliates and Regions.
- Facilitates maturation of existing projects from development-phase to launch planning and commercialization phases.
- Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Training/Education:
- BS in Life Sciences, business or related degree. MBA Preferred.
Experience:
- Five (5) years combined experience in execution of life-science related projects, with at least one year interacting directly with Pharma customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent team skills, organizational skills, and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong technical acumen and proven sales skills.
- Must be efficient with primary computer programs.
