Our clinic in Bradenton East is searching for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician maintains the ordering and stocking of medications and supplies as needed in the clinic.

Under supervision of Head Nurse, prepares and mixes medications.

Coordinates with drug sales representatives, and pharmaceutical companies to obtain samples, teaching aids, and compassionate drugs.

Acts as liaison between Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Supervisor and Purchasing in obtaining special order medications.
Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the healthcare field. Preferably in a clinical setting as a Pharmacy Technician.

PTCB Certification and/or Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) is required.

Medical terminology and attention to detail.

Fluency in the English language as well as strong communication skills.

Must be willing to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings as well as training sessions.

Valid Florida Drivers License for travel to clinics is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
• healthcare: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)
