BWXT is currently seeking a Pharmacy Planner for its Lynchburg, VA location!


The Pharmacy Planner works with Operations and Engineering support groups to maintain Pharmacy production flow.


Job Description/Duties:

  • Completes material lot assignments within area computer systems.
  • Works with other Pharmacy Planner to perform data reviews and coverage as needed.
  • Provides support to Pharmacy and Manufacturing lines through continuous improvement actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment is required.
  • Must have demonstrable skills and knowledge in tracking and trending data using Excel and other internal database systems.
  • Must be willing to work within a controlled area.
  • Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. citizenship with (no dual citizenship) ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test and previous employment reference verifications.
