Job Summary -To become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The personal care assistant will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff. Role and Responsibilities * Understanding and providing cares according to the patient's PCA care plan * Communicating appropriately with the Clinical Manager * Maintaining consistent communication with the Patient Scheduling Representative * Assisting patient with a variety of daily activities, such as bathing, feeding, grooming, dressing * Performing light housework or other activities related to independent living * Accurately documenting daily activities *Generally assist the client with any activity they would do if able to live independently Qualifications and Education Requirements * Interpersonal skills: sensitivity and compassion towards patients * High School diploma or G.E.D. required * Must be 18 years of age or older * Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and carry out written and verbal directions in English * One-year related work experience required *Maintain confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and rules ** Must have a reliable vehicle**.
