About the RoleThe People Operations Manager role is a newly created, hands-on role that focuses on building quality people programs that scale with Lyra’s growing population. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience and a drive for rolling out well thought out and scalable initiatives in a mission focused hyper growth start-up in the mental health space. We are also looking for a thought partner and team player who loves collaborating on various projects with other members of the growing People Operations team. What you'll do


    Culture and Diversity
  • Be a culture champion of Lyra and partner with Senior People Operations Manager on strategically creating a cohesive culture plan
  • Help develop, participate and lead various culture initiatives
  • Partner with Lyra’s DEI&B officer in diversity initiatives across the org

  • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
  • Own the full cycle annual performance management program within Lyra including performance review design, system set up, communications to employees and managers and transition to comp planning
  • Navigate with detail and diligence tricky and complex HR activities including performance management, conflict resolution, organizational development/training, employee relations, terminations, etc.; escalating where appropriate

  • POLICIES & COMPLIANCE
  • HR Compliance projects (Contingent workforce, OFCCP Compliance, Employee Classification, Background checks)
  • Job design project including job descriptions, leveling and career matrices
  • Provide excellent employee service and act as a main point of contact for employees who have HR questions regarding company policies, procedures, programs, and general company issues
  • Oversee and update HR Communication tools and suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiencies of the People Operations team
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required

  • OTHER PROJECTS
  • Support the career development program with the creation of career ladders, leveling structure and career pathing org-wide
  • Facilitate any manager training and proactively coach managers in real time with a sense of urgency
  • Assess L&D initiatives that fit the needs of our employee population

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in field or a minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on excellence
  • Great team player with a collaborative mindset towards the team
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and drive towards aggressive deadlines
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Thoughtfulness, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Understanding of federal and state labor laws
  • Fluent in Google Apps and MS Office
