To provide peer support services as part of a multi-disciplinary team to persons with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Service provision will focus on working with clients to enhance their recovery. Service is provided to individuals or groups.
Compensation: $19.82 hr.
Minimum Required Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Related Experience
- One (1) year of experience with mental health or substance abuse services or equivalent lived experience
- One (1) year of experience working with families or youth in a service-oriented field
- Six (6) months computer operations skills, including but not limited to Microsoft office products
Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
- WA State Driver License and must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Personal Auto Insurance & Abstract Required)
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. Must obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain as a condition of employment.
- Food Handlers Permit. Must obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain as a condition of employment.
- Must become a WA state certified Peer Support Counselor within one (1) year from date of hire.
- HIPAA certification upon hire.
- Must abide by the Tulalip Tribes vaccination policy
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Terms of Employment: This is a Contracted position.
