As a peer advisor, you will assist students with the advising and registration process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• The Peer Advisor will help students with degree plans, time management, and referring them to other campus resources
• Will answer phones and fill in when the administrative assistant is unavailable.
• Will perform other duties relevant to the position as well.

Required QualificationsMWSU Student
Degree Seeking
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 Credit Hours
Maintain a 2.5 GPA
Will need to qualify for federal work study financial aid assistance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Possess strong telephone etiquette skills
• Possess a strong customer service mentality
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Proficient on a PC computer with general computer skills

Physical DemandsSedentary work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force.
