Ageless Living Home Health is seeking a (Full Time/ Part Time) Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our #TheraGator Crew. We are looking for a career minded individual to add to our family. You will be servicing our #GatorKids throughout Austin Texas( Travis, Hays and Caldwell Counties) and surrounding areas.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
- Plans activities and provides occupational therapy services
- Records type of treatment and patient's reaction to it on clinical/progress notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient's record weekly.
- Utilizes community resources and Agency personnel for proper referral
- Be supervised by an OT as follows: Follow guidelines for supervision as outlined by the Executive Council for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Confirms, on a weekly basis, the scheduling of visits with the Therapy Coordinator to coordinate necessary visits with other personnel
- Participates with staff, supervising OT, patient, and physician in discharge planning activities
- Performs telehealth visits with company platform
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of a 2 yr. Associates Degree
- One (1) full year of supervised work experience preferred
- Licensure or certification by the state of Texas as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Must have current auto insurance coverage
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Capability to lift, guard, transfer, and maneuver patients of all sizes and weights, utilizing assistance or special equipment as needed on a recurring basis and in a safe manner
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to safely apply all necessary modalities and operation of equipment.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and verbal directives.
- Mobility to work with young clients
