Description: Summary/Objective Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing durable medical equipment to patients in the field either discharging from hospitals, or preoperatively setting them up with equipment. They must always present themselves in a professional manner with patients, doctors, nurses, office managers, physical therapists, and other professionals. They must provide high level of product knowledge and educate patients with the equipment they are receiving. The patient service representative will support the Sales Representative in a specific territory by providing field support. The primary responsibilities are to provide customer service for all patient fittings. They are responsible for managing their own inventory levels and communicating with internal operations regarding their day-to-day services. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Employees must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Travel Travel to hospitals and clinics will be required for this position.
