Pacific Eye Institute is currently hiring for a Full-Time Patient Service Representative. Location/Schedule:
This non-exempt position will work Monday-Friday with shifts varying from early morning to early evening. The position is located in Eastvale, CA and may require occasional travel to other work sites as needed. Position SummaryWe are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized Patient Service Representative to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients and their families. Essential Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office in a warm and friendly manner
  • Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
  • Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address
  • Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
  • Register new patients and update necessary records
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
  • Process patient payments in office
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical practice front office settingBilingual (Spanish) Preferred
