Enters the patient's name, date of birth and chief complaint in the electronic medical record (EMR). The Patient Rep Liaison is responsible for greeter functions, patient safety and compliance, and patient experience/customer service. Must be able to quickly recognize patient condition changes using across the room observation. Professionally communicates in all aspects of role, including phone etiquette. Maintains current knowledge of the ED protocols. Reports changes in patient condition to the Triage RN.Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of medical experience, with previous hospital or physician office experience preferred.
  • Must be able to accurately enter data.
  • Knowledge of some medical terminology required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills required.
