Position Summary: Essential Job functions: Ensure complete and accurate patient registration by creating a patient demographic sheet for days encounter. Accept and record patient payments by documenting transactions in Pass Port system and on daily logs to ensure proper balance at end of shift. Charge patient services by entering CPT codes, into computer to ensure expeditious billing process. Perform closing procedures according to established protocol on a daily basis. Maintain medical records acquired from previous practice/ownership in accordance with established polices and guidelines Other duties as assigned. The Patient Representative under direction of the OHAC Patient Registration Manager is responsible to the Director of Operations, Urgent and Quick Cares and its clients for providing clerical and receptionist support to the physicians, staff and clients for scheduling registering, receiving and discharging clients.
Perform opening procedures according to established protocol to ensure facility is prepared to conduct daily business.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Graduate Of Medical Secretary or Medical Assistant School preferred.
Experience: One year of clerical, customer services or medical receptionist experience preferred; or completion of Medical Secretary/ Assistant Program
